NAME

     rpc.metad - remote metaset services

SYNOPSIS

     /usr/sbin/rpc.metad

DESCRIPTION

     rpc.metad is an rpc(4) daemon (functioning as a server  pro-
     cess)  that  is  used  to  manage local copies of metadevice
     diskset information. The  rpc.metad  daemon  is  invoked  by
     inetd(1M).

EXIT STATUS

     The following exit values are returned:

          0     Successful completion.

          >0    An error occurred.
