_toupper(3C)

NAME

     _toupper - transliterate lower-case characters to upper-case

SYNOPSIS

     #include <ctype.h>

     int _toupper(int c);

DESCRIPTION

     The _toupper() macro is  equivalent  to  toupper(3C)  except
     that the argument c must be a lower-case letter.

RETURN VALUES

     On successful completion, _toupper() returns the  upper-case
     letter corresponding to the argument passed.

ERRORS

     No errors are defined.
