NAME

     tanh - hyperbolic tangent function

SYNOPSIS

     cc [ flag ... ] file ... -lm [ library ... ]
     #include <math.h>

     double tanh(double x);

DESCRIPTION

     The tanh() function computes the hyperbolic tangent of x.

RETURN VALUES

     Upon successful completion, tanh()  returns  the  hyperbolic
     tangent of x.

     If x is NaN, NaN is returned.
