     uhci - host controller driver

DESCRIPTION

     The uhci host controller driver  is  a  USBA   (Solaris  USB
     Architecture)   compliant  nexus  driver  that  supports the
     Universal Host Controller Interface  Specification  1.1,  an
     industry  standard  developed by Intel. The uhci driver sup-
     ports all USB transfers, including interrupt, control,  iso-
     chronous and bulk.

           32-bit ELF kernel module for original USBA framework.*
           (X86 only).

     /kernel/drv/uhci.conf
           uhci configuration file. (X86 only).

     /kernel/drv/usba10_uhci
           32-bit ELF kernel module for USBA 1.0 framework.* (X86
           only).

     /kernel/drv/usba10_uhci.conf
           usba10_uhci configuration file. (X86 only).

DIAGNOSTICS

     All host controller errors are passed to the client drivers.
     Root hub errors are documented in hubd(7D).

     In addition to being logged,  the   following  messages  may
     appear  on the system console. All messages are formatted in
     the following manner:

     WARNING: <device path> (uhci<instance number>): Error message...

     or

     WARNING: <device path> (usba10_uhci<instance number>):
     Error message...

     No SOF interrupts
           The USB hardware is  not  generating  Start  Of  Frame
           interrupts. Please reboot the system. If this  problem
           persists, contact your system vendor.
